TRAGEDY: SEE WHAT HAPPENED TO TWO BROTHERS WHEN PLAYING WITH THEIR FATHER'S GUN

Tragedy struck in the small town of Umueze, Enugwu-Achi, Oji-River, local government area in Enugu state when a three year old boy, Akachukwu was allegedly shot dead by his elder brother, Ebubechukwu while they were playing with their father’s gun, Vanguard reports.

The two brothers were said to be playing and ‘acting’ a movie with their father’s gun. They were said not to be aware that the gun was loaded until the 14 year old elder brother pulled the trigger and killed his younger brother.

A source revealed that their father, Christian Odika, was attending a village meeting at Obodo-Ukwu Enugwu-Akwu when information reached him that his elder son had accidentally shot his brother.

He was said to have rushed back to the house but could do nothing as the young boy had already passed away.

Mr. Ebere Amaraiz, the public relations officer of the state police command confirmed the incident. He said: “Investigations into the tragic incident have commenced to ascertain the remote causes, so the law can take its course.”
