9. Dotun Kayode

Dotun is a radio and television presenter. Popularly affiliated with Cool FM, he also plays hosts to the greatest countdown on earth music show on soundcity. A fact that can’t be left out is that he is married to D’banj’s younger sister, Taiwo.

7 Chidi Mokeme

Ace actor, producer and television personality, needs no introductions. He served as the anchor of the reality show “Gulder Ultimate Search” for the first two seasons and returned as the anchor in 2014 because many thought the one who replaced him did not match up in charisma and character.

7. Adams Adebola Ibrahim

He is fasting beginning to be a household name on many’s lips, having hosted quite a number of live shows and television programs. Adams currently trends as a heartbeat for Soundcity.

6. Ik Osakioduwa

Evergreen, never growing old, IK is a classy and self styled on air personality. His presentations are top notch and well respected in broadcasting not just in Nigeria, but in Africa as a whole.

He is most know as host of the infamous Big Brother Africa show and the MBGN, among others.

5. Joseph Benjamin

Calm and composed doesn’t do justice to the qualities of this actor, model and tv personality. He earned his greatest mark on the stage of Mtn project fame which he anchored with the pretty Adora Oleh

4. D.J Exclusive

DJ Xclusive whose real name is Rotimi Alakija is a British Nigerian disc jockey, record producer and co-host of the radio show-table of men. He was born in the UK to Nigerian parents, many don’t really know that he studied Physics and Computer Science at Reading University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree, and later studied Financial Computing at Brunel University.

3. Bardia Adebola

Adebola is Popularly known by his nickmane, ‘Illrymz’. He is a Nigerian Tv personality,writer, producer, hiphop/rnb artist and ex-model.

He was Born in lagos to a Persian mother and Nigerian father, popularly known as the host of the Nigerian idol show with tiwa savage.

2. Uti Nwachukwu

He was winner of the big brother Africa show in 2010, he’s very vast, and have worked as an actor, model,musician,media producer and TV personality. After winning he has hosted series of events including red carpet shows.

He currently co-hosts the talk show Jara alongside Helen paul on Africa magic

1.Ebuka Obi Uchendu

This lawyer hosted the inaugural presidential debate focused on youth issues in the run-up to the 2011 presidential election. He has also contributed to online publications such as Ynaija and 360nobs. He hosts “Rubbin Minds” on Channels tv and “The Spot” on Ebonylive tv.

I Am Comfortable Without A Wife- Says Pasuma

Popular sensational Fuji artist, Pasuma who recently opened up on his marriage plans, has come out to say he is comfortable living alone.

According to Encomium Magazine, the Oganla of Fuji speaks on his career, malice with Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun, marriage and much more.

When asked about living without a wife, Pasuma disclosed that he is comfortable living without a woman and people should allow him live his life.

He said “I am comfortable. I think anything you do in this life, you just have to believe in yourself first. At the same time, if I am not ready to do anything, nobody can force me to do it. By now, I believe people should allow me live my life, they should just wait, it is my life. They should just leave me alone on that, I have the right to live whichever life that pleases me. I am comfortable living without a wife but I can’t shy away from the fact that I need someone to call my wife under my roof. I know quite alright that it’s better for me to have a wife which I will still do, but people should just wait, get their fingers crossed and let me choose for myself”.

Pasuma further added that his mum is not in a hurry and she understands him.

He said “she doesn’t have a choice but she understands me better. Just like I said, people should just allow me live my life. I know what is good for me and nobody can dictate to me how to live my life”.

However, Pasuma urged his fans to watch out for his album ‘Ability’.

SAHEED OSUPA'S BAND AT WAR, EMBARKS ON INDEFINITE STRIKE - READ WHY

Award winning Nigerian Fuji artist, Saheed Osupa’s band members embarks on an indefinite strike due to the failure of unpaid salaries.

According to E24-7 Magazine, the strike began on Sunday, August 22, to kick against the inability of their principal to pay their wages at the right time since they joined the band.

Speaking with one of the band boys, he disclosed that Saheed agreed to pay 26 of them N100,000 at N3, 800 to share among themselves after each show but he has never fulfilled his promise as he sometimes pay the said amount to cover for two or three shows.

He further disclosed that, their boss Saheed would gladly pay four bouncers N100, 000 for each show, in order to ensure his security without blinking an eye.

Award winning Nollywood actress and film maker Mercy Aigbe-Gentry has not only carved a niche for herself in the movie industry but is also happily married with two children

In an interview with Naij.com, the actress spoke on why celebrity marriages, especially in the entertainment industry, crash.

Mercy said most marriages crash because people get married for the wrong reasons and are not ready to face the challenges that come with it.

She said “Failed marriages are on the increase now, not just in Nollywood. Some people are not just ready to be married because it comes with its own challenges and people also get married for the wrong reasons.”

Mercy also spoke on why celebrity marriages are more challenging.

She said: “Nollywood marriages are more challenging because we are constantly in the news without any breathing space or privacy. Also, some journalists just get stories and are too lazy to verify such stories before publishing them. Journalists need to know that people are wicked and will want to get back at someone out there; so, they should put their integrity in check before writing any story.”

Mercy, however, said she is yet to experience any challenge in her marriage, at least not one that readily comes to mind.

The actress recently warned fans against fake Facebook and Twitter accounts created in her name.

Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, turned a year older on Monday August 24, 2015. The 39-year-old actress decided to celebrate by boarding a flight to the United Kingdom for what she called a VIP birthday celebration tour that will end on September 4, 2015.

The Jenifa star had a birthday party at top afrobeats club, Coko Bar. She rocked the night in a Roberto Cavalli metallic pleated dress and strappy black sandals.

Yemi Alade

Also in the UK, Yemi Alade performed at the Dance Afrique Summer Festival where she sent the crowd into a frenzy while dressed in an Iconic Invanity romper by Nigerian designer, Nancy Nwadire.

The romper is one of the three things Yemi Alade salvaged when her hotel went up in flames. She termed the outfit ‘the most artistic and expensive piece I have ever acquired.’

Rukky Sanda

In Lagos, Nollywood actress and movie producer Rukky Sanda premiered her new movie titled ‘Dark’ at the Silverbird Galleria.

Rukky dropped jaws when she stepped out in a self-designed maxi dress with a prominent keyhole neckline and a cutout at the waist. Her dress, with its sequinned detail, showed off her ample curves.

Kanye West was conferred with MTV’s lifetime honour, the Video Vanguard Award, at the MTV Video Music Awards, yesterday, August 30; but he ended his acceptance speech in a rather unusual way as he declared plans to run for public office.

The award was presented to him by erstwhile rival, Taylor Swift. The pop singer also credited West with having a strong influence on her career, adding that he’s had a tremendous music career himself.

The rapper’s speech is filled with a lot of surprises, the most notable being his desire to stick with and defend the art to any lengths.

“I will die for the art, and for what I believe in, and the art ain’t always gonna be polite,” he said.

The rapper also admitted to having smoked a bit of substance before getting on stage, even as he paused and motioned inarticulately a few times in the course of his speech.

But nothing came more shocking than his daring announcement on the night when, he closed his eyes for split seconds as, he went:

“And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president.”

The speech ended, obviously, in a few minutes of hysteria from the audience as West descended from the podium having concluded his announcement.

Kanye West is a respected rapper and is married to TV and fashion personality, Kim Kardashian.

With the new West intention, and if things pan out, America may be served by an eccentric First Lady in the person of Kim Kardashian West in a few years from now.

It remains to be seen whether or not the Wests will hold the office or not come 2020.
