INSURGENCY WORSEN UNDER BUHARI - EKWEREMADU

Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu says insurgency has worsened since the inauguration of the present administration. He said Boko haram was already being rolled out of Nigeria before the elections but surprisingly they have increased their attacks and spread to other parts of Nigeria
"I am worried about the insurgence of the Boko Haram activities in Nigeria. Shortly before the inauguration of the present government, the country had almost rolled back Boko Haram and its activities in every part of Nigeria, from Adamawa to Borno to Yobe. I was hoping that when we come back in the 8th Assembly, that I will work with our colleagues from the North-East to develop a plan of action that will help to rehabilitate that part of Nigeria. I feel so concerned about the suffering of our people from the North-East of Nigeria. I had hoped that by now we would be tasking ourselves on how best to rebuild that part of Nigeria. Regrettably the actions of Boko Haram seems to have resurfaced now not only in Borno, they have carried out their activities also in Plateau, they have gone to Adamawa, Kaduna. I am worried that if nothing is done, the next target would be Abuja. Maybe they start going to South. It is important for us as those in government, whether Executive or Legislature, to come together to find solutions to these problems.” he told newsmen (Punch)

  1. This Buhari's #misguidedbrothers are there for one mission: to Islamize Nigeria.
If the President had debunked this well noted plan accredited to him, now is the time to demonstrate that Boko Haram was not hatched out from his belly.
Persuading Nigerians to accept his own myopic idea of awarding Nigeria money derived from oil in the South South region to these bunch of vampires is a disservice to the South South people in one hand and Nigerians in the other hand. Buhari should devise other means of taming this wild beasts one of which is giving quality education as set up by his predecessor-GoodLuck Jonathan. An educated mind is a liberal mind.

Buhari should also quickly look into the solid minerals and industrial minerals deposited in commercial quantity in the Northern part of Nigeria in a bid to offers more opportunities to milling companies and firms looking to use these raw materials as inputs.

Buhari should shun all anti-development policies in order to create a more conducive atmosphere for entrepreneurs and form an all inclusive government of all stakeholders comprising technocrats from the six geographical regions in Nigeria.
Any attempt for Buhari eyes to see Nigeria as Hausa/Fulani property, then rob the other regions especially the South South people of the right to benefit largely from their natural wealth will be counter-productive.

For those who like to forment problem and give wrong advise to sitting government to overtly cause chaos in the system should be careful. Buhari's emergence as the President in the recently Jega orchestrated election victory should not been seen as victory for Hausa/Fulani against the rest of the country.

Those whose main objective in sponsoring Boko Haram should know that man may not not know them but there is God who sees and directs the affairs of all men in the world.
This is one area that will create job opportunities for those who have successfully finished their educational pursuits.
