Few months ago, a church was criticized for inviting a secular singer, Mavin Records’ Korede Bello to perform his hit single ‘Godwin’ during the Sunday service.
Another church invite went viral about veteran fuji star, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma making a special guest appearance at a three-day outdoor crusade organized by The Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Lagos Province 20.
The picture of Pasuma, a Muslim, was on a poster advertising the crusade scheduled for October 23 to 25 on the Lagos Island.
According to reports, the fuji star was engaged in a bid to win for Christ the souls of the area boys and touts in the church’s neighbourhood.
Popular gospel singer Tope Alabi is also billed to perform at the crusade.
Efforts to reach the organizers of the proposed crusade to confirm the fuji star’s performance as at the time of this report proved abortive.
